Sergio Aguero weeps as he retires from football due to a heart condition
Just over a month after being diagnosed with a heart issue, the Barcelona and Argentina striker announced his retirement from football in a sad press conference.

The 33-year-old was recently diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat).
After experiencing chest problems and breathing difficulties during Barcelona’s 1-1 draw with Alaves in October, he was brought to the hospital.
Aguero joined Barcelona on a free transfer from Manchester City in the summer, after scoring 184 goals in 275 Premier League appearances to become the club’s all-time leading scorer.
He only made five appearances for Barcelona, scoring once in a 2-1 loss to Real Madrid. He didn’t make his debut until October after recovering from a calf injury.
“I have decided to stop playing professional football. It is a very hard moment but I am happy with my decision. My health comes first,” said Aguero, who played for Manchester City for ten years before leaving at the end of last season.
