On what would have been the 45th birthday of beloved Nollywood actor Junior Pope, his wife, Jennifer Awele, has penned a touching and emotional tribute that has stirred hearts across social media.
Taking to her Instagram page on Tuesday, May 7, 2025, Jennifer shared a heartfelt message filled with love, pain, and cherished memories of her late husband, who tragically passed away in April 2024.
Recalling a memory from when their bond first began, she wrote:
“In July 2010, you asked my birth date… I asked for yours and you said the last day in the first week of May and I said 7th??? You said (smart, with a clap).”
Marking his birthday without the usual surprises, Jennifer expressed the deep void his absence has left in her life:
“It’s May 7th 2025 and I’m not celebrating you with my different birthday surprises (I doubt I missed any), not with candles and cakes but with tears and memories and a heart that still beats in rhythm with yours.”
