Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, has fired back at popular social media commentator, Vincent (VDM), over allegations he made against her, including questioning the paternity of her son, Liam.
In a series of tweets, Wunmi accused Vincent of harassing her for nearly two years and attempting to obstruct justice for her late husband. She stated that despite her silence, he continued to spread misinformation about her and their son.
She wrote:
“Vincent, for nearly two years, I have endured your harassment and attempts to obstruct my husband’s justice. Despite my silence, you continued to spread misinformation and question our son’s paternity, Liam. My silence was not a weakness, but I chose to mourn my husband with dignity.”
Addressing the controversy surrounding a past recording of Mohbad, Wunmi explained that she had recorded him during a distressing episode caused by trauma from an encounter with NDLEA officers. According to her, she later played the recording for him, and he apologized, after which they moved on, got married, and had a child.
Taking a direct jab at Vincent, she accused him of siding with those who tormented Mohbad, stating:
“Your biased support for Mohbad’s enemies is notable, but I’m confident God is on my side. You can’t break me or my son. I have stated repeatedly that I am ready for the DNA test. Your audacity is appalling.”
She further accused him of using Mohbad’s death for clout, alleging that he bullied the late singer’s immediate family while benefiting from the controversy.
Ending her statement, Wunmi advised Vincent to “question his own paternity” instead of meddling in her family’s affairs.
Her fiery response comes amidst the ongoing public discourse about Mohbad’s passing, the calls for a DNA test, and the continuous social media drama surrounding the late singer’s family.
