Ella and Mercy were housemates in the Pepper Dem season of Big Brother Naija, and their relationship during the show was relatively cordial.

Ella had been asking for money from her fellow housemates despite claiming that she was broke. Mercy then asked if Ella was into drugs in a seemingly harmless manner.
Fast forward to the present day, Ella has taken to social media to demand an apology from Mercy. According to Ella, when she needed her fellow housemates, they were nowhere to be found. She expressed her disappointment that Mercy did not reach out to her when she was in a tough spot, and instead chose to make assumptions about her.
