Yerins blows hot, warns those sending unsolicited photos without consent

Yerins warns those sending unsolicited photos without consent.

Yerimene Abraham Saibakumo, better known as Yerins, has spoken out about the act of taking and then sending unsolicited nude photos to individuals on purpose.

Yerin, who rose to stardom after appearing on Big Brother Naija’s ‘Shine Ya Eye’ reality show, has spoken out against sending naked photos without the consent of the other person.

The reality star took to Twitter to express his displeasure with the situation, claiming that the microblogging platform should follow suit because it is a horrible thing.

Sending naked images without consent, he claims, might be considered a form of rape.

As he puts it;

“I don’t know who needs to hear or see this

Sending people nudes without their consent is sexually harassing them.

“Sending people unsolicited nudes is like R-pe. Rape is sexual relations without the person’s consent encounters without the consent of the person are referred to as rape.

A nasty act should not be glorified by the media. It’s a disaster.”
