Nigerian Navy reveals reason for giving comedian, Cute Abiola one-month Punishment
Abdulgafar Ahmad, also known as Cute Abiola, is serving a one-month ‘additional duty’ for dressing in a police uniform in one of his skits.
According to the Nigerian Navy, he is serving his sentence for mocking the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in the process.

Remember that the comedian’s arrest went viral on November 25th, but he was freed from custody to serve his ‘light corrective punishment’ at the cantonment.
Cute Abiola, 25, is anticipated to finish his punishment by December 15, 2021, when he would be permitted to return home to his family, according to reports.
Commodore Suleman Dahun, a spokesman for the Navy, verified the news to Saturday Beats.
After a military trial, the skit creator was handed a minor punishment of ‘one-month extra duty,’ according to the Naval Spokesman.
Dahun said, “Cute Abiola has been placed on one-month extra duty after he was tried. He will be in charge of cleanship; supervising painting, electricians, carpentry, cutting of grasses, and others. He will be supervising civilians.”
