Wizkid shares how Wande Coal gave him a place to stay when he had nowhere else to go.
During a recent performance at the Flytime Music Festival in Lagos, the award-winning artist, Wizkid, revealed that.
Among other things, Wizkid said that when he was still finding his way in the music industry, legendary music icon Wande Coal welcomed him into his home.
He also expressed his appreciation for Wande Coal by saying how special he is.
He thrilled the crowd with Wande Coal’s latest single, “you bad,” and said:
“I remember when I was making my first single, Holla at your boy, Tease me, Don’t Dull, Wande Coal was always there for me mehn. He let me sleep in his room when I had nowhere to go. I just want to say a big thank you to that guy, that’s a very special human being.”
