Twitter Reportedly Set To Sue Meta Over It’s New Platform, Thread ( DETAIL)

Twitter has reportedly fulminated to take legal actions against Meta, the parent company of Facebook over the release of it’s new platform, Thread.

MO Media earlier reported that on Thursday, Meta launched Thread as one of it’s social networking applications to allow users to engage in threaded conversations and discussions.

As MO Media reports this news, Thread currently has over Fifty Five million users.

In a letter sent to Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg by Twitter’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, it was stated that Twitter intends to strictly enforce it’s intellectual right and demands that Meta takes immediate steps to stop using any of it’s trade secrets or other highly confidential information.

MO Media also recalls that  Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter reacted to the news of  Meta new platform , Thread.

Reacting to the news , Musk said;

“Competition is fine , cheating is not”.
