Former Eezee Concept artist, Minister GUC, has expressed heartfelt appreciation for his former record label boss, Eezee Tee, months after his five-year contract with the label came to an end.
The gospel singer took to social media to acknowledge the impact of Eezee Tee on his life and career.
“Thank you for all that you did for me, sir. Thank you for loving me and teaching me a lot. May God bless you, sir,” GUC wrote, accompanied by a heartfelt prayer and emojis.
This public display of gratitude comes at a time when Eezee Concept is embroiled in legal battles with other former signees, including Mercy Chinwo and Judikay.
Mercy Chinwo recently sued Eezee Concept for allegedly diverting $345,000 in funds and accused the label of exploiting her music catalog. Eezee Tee, in response, denied the allegations, stating that Chinwo breached their contract by withholding funds and failing to deliver a third album.
Similarly, Judikay is reported to have parted ways with the label under strained circumstances, also, filing a lawsuit for alleged diverted funds.
Fans have noted the stark contrast in Minister GUC’s amicable exit and ongoing tensions with other former artists. While the court battles continue, GUC’s tribute underscores the positive influence Eezee Tee had on his career.
As the gospel music community watches the developments unfold, GUC’s words serve as a reminder of the value of mentorship and collaboration, even in the midst of controversy.
