Carlo Ancelotti has stated that everyone looks down on Real Madrid player Vinicius Jr.
The Italian manager was enraged after the Brazilian winger was fouled six times in their 2-0 La Liga victory against Athletic Bilbao.
Ancelotti is requesting that his superstar be treated with greater respect by opponents and referees.
Vinicius started the season strongly and was one of Santiago Bernabeu’s best players thus far.
“[Vinicius] is a wonderful player and a very reasonable person,” Ancelotti stated after the win against Bilbao.
“The fact is that everyone despises him. The competitors, the officials, and the competitors’ fans. We want to be treated with greater dignity.”
