The statement made by Whitemoney, an alumni of the Nigerian reality TV show Big Brother Naija, that “No woman is out of your league” has received backlash from some people, including Doyin, who argued that the mentality that money is all that matters in attracting a woman is misguided.
She said,
” Unfortunately,this is the mentality of a lot of men and it’s sad. It’s not always about money….some women would be out of your league regardless of how much money you have if your value, leadership skills and orientation is just too poor”.
Furthermore, it is important to note that not all women have the same preferences when it comes to choosing a partner. Some women may be attracted to men who have a lot of money or status, while others may be more interested in qualities such as kindness, intelligence, or a sense of humor.
Ultimately, the idea that no woman is out of a man’s league can be a double-edged sword. On one hand, it can be empowering for men to feel that they have the ability to attract any woman they desire. However, it can also perpetuate the idea that women are objects to be conquered, rather than individuals with their own desires and agency.
