Popular Nigerian Twitter user, Daniel Regha, has spoken in reaction to news of Barbadian-American music star, Rihanna being pregnant for rapper, ASAP Rocky.
According to the controversial social critic, Rihanna getting pregnant out of wedlock is not something worth celebrating.
Daniel said the ‘Man Down’ hit-maker carrying ASAP’s child despite the fact that they are not married should not be celebrated. He noted a man who truly loves a woman would pay her bride price and walk down the aisle before starting a family with her.
He wrote; ‘‘Rihanna getting pregnant for ASAP Rocky w!thout getting married first, on a real isn’t worth applauding; Celebrity or not, the right thing to do is to get married before having kids. The world has normalised “baby mama & baby daddy” like its a d!gnifying status. God help us all.
Any lady who allows a man deliberately impregnate her before marriage doesn’t know her worth; It makes absolutely no sense. If a man truly loves u, he should go pay for ur bride price or walk u down the aisle before starting a family with u cos “baby mama” is a degrad!ng status.”
