In a surprising turn of events, Nigerian singer, Chike, has gifted one million Naira to a troll, for berating him.
It’s worth noting that Chike had a collaboration with Mohbad on ‘Egwu’ before his death.
Upon its release, the song topped all charts on streaming platforms.
On Twitter, Chike shared a video featuring his new song.
In response to the tweet, @hateof stated that Mohbad brought Chike into the spotlight.
The troll further stated that Chike, who was previously competing with fast-rising artists in terms of streams, had now exceeded 40 million streams and credited this success to Mohbad.
“Mohbad helped Chike gain massive streams. Without him, Chike wouldn’t have reached 40 million streams, especially considering they were once on par with artists like Young Duu”, @hateof tweeted.
Chike fired back at @hateof’s tweet and stated that he was just hungry and also lacked manners.
Chike further offered to send @hateof one million Naira.
He tweeted, “Now I doubt your mother even made you right . If she didn’t teach you manners she should have taught you research . I for send you like 1M now , make hunger comot your eye make you see road but your account fit collapse. Let the good guy rest in peace”.
