To facilitate his release, Rudeboy presented one of his properties in Ikoyi, Lagos, as surety.

“My Lord, I have documents for one of my properties in Ikoyi, valued at several billion naira. I’m willing to use it as surety. Please grant my brother bail today,” he pleaded with the judge.

Jude is facing trial alongside his company, Northside Music Ltd, on a seven-count charge. The EFCC launched its investigation following a complaint by Peter Okoye, Rudeboy’s twin brother, regarding suspicious financial activities.

Jude was brought before Justice Alexander Owoeye at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, facing a seven-count charge of alleged money laundering involving N1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59.

After the court session, Rudeboy addressed the press, stating, “Peter put Jude in prison, and I’m here to bring him out.”
