The Lagos State Police Command has finally given an update about the ongoing investigation into the tragic death of popular Nigerian singer, Mohbad.
The Lagos Police Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa, during a live press briefing on the X platform on Friday, identified the nurse who treated the singer before his death as the principal suspect.
He said the auxiliary nurse was not qualified to administer injections on Mohbad, adding that the injections triggered other things leading to the singer’s death.
The Commissioner, however, said the result of the autopsy conducted on the deceased was still being awaited.
Momedia reports that Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Record label owned by Naira Marley controversially died on Tuesday September 12.
