Nedu Wazobia Early Life
Chinedu Emmanuella, popularly known as Nedu, was born on the 2nd of August 1982. He was born in Kaduna State. Before becoming popular, Nedu had worked in many capacities.
One such is becoming a manager for a car wash firm. His family consist of one brother and parents. Thereby making a family of four. 
Nedu Education
Nedu attended the prestigious Madonna University in Anambra State. He studied Accounting at the school. While in school, he understood the double-entry principles.
Additionally, he was exposed to the International Accounting Standards (IAS) in Accounting. Despite, gaining knowledge in all these fields, he was interested in broadcasting and media production.
Later on, he had his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Jigawa. Nedu Wazobia was posted to a radio station during his service year. This was the first experience he had with radio broadcasting.
Nedu Career
Nedu has had a long career timeline. He has worked in several roles in Nigeria. To start with, he worked in a radio station in Jigawa. As you know, Jigawa is located in the northern region of Nigeria. So, he used this opportunity to learn to speak Hausa fluently.
Additionally, he took advantage of this opportunity to harness his skill in media broadcasting.
After his NYSC, he returned to Abuja. He submitted his CV to different places in search of occupation. In the long run, he later found a job as a site manager for a particular company.
Nedu Wazobia’s role was to supervise the construction of sites and report back to his employers. In addition, he was entailed with the job of liaising with the company to work with them.
After two years in Abuja, he moved to Lagos. There, he enrolled as a broadcaster at CoolNigeriaInfo FM. He was offered the job as a newscaster on Wazobia FM in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Later on, he moved from being a newscaster to a presenter. This role had him organize the morning shows in Wazobia after YAW Wazobia left the station.
Fast forward to 2017, he started appearing in some movies. He acted in funny roles in many movies, and this made him even more popular among viewers.
Not long after that, he engaged in skit-making. As a result, Nedu Wazobia started acting with his colleague, Ezugwu Chukwudi known as Husband Material.
His video series made him famous among netizens. Nedu first acted the role of “Oga Landlord” while his colleague, Husband Material played the role of a tenant.

Nedu has been in several allegations. Some of them include:
• Nedu left his position as podcast host of “The Honest Bunch Podcast” in February 2025. He resigned because of the issue caused by Martins Ortse, also known as VeryDarkMan, who said he had demanded sex from Jojo, in exchange for movie roles.
During the most recent appearance on the Honest Bunch Podcast, VeryDarkMan asserted in the midst of a continuing spat with stand-up comic Deeone, who had claimed to have proof that VeryDarkMan was gay.
Then, VeryDarkMan threatened to make public all the celebs Nedu allegedly had sex with in return for roles.
• He had also had issues with his wife emanating from infidelities. Of course, this issue stemmed when Uzoamaka, Nedu’s wife, alleged that Nedu abused her physically. She claimed that Nedu beat her immediately after her Caesarian Section (CS).
It then became a rebuttal of exchange as Nedu told the public that the first child with Uzoamaka wasn’t his. In her defence, she said that she was pregnant some days before getting married to Nedu. This went back and forth until Nedu divorced his wife.
