Actress Yvonne Jegede has shared a video on facebook where she reflected over the death of her colleague, Junior Pope.
Yvonne recalled how she spent six million naira in 2019 to produce a movie, yet didn’t make any profit, however, most producers in nollywood now are spending not upto 3 million in production. The actress stated that movie production is not meant for everyone to venture into, because of funds and adequate knowledge in the act of producing.
Yvonne also slammed most nollywood producers who make movies with low budget and risk the lives of actors and other crew members. She concluded by saying Junior Pope’s death should have been averted if production wasn’t cutting cost.
