Sensational afrobeat singer, Divine Ikubor also known as Rema has sparked outrage online with his recent complimentary praises on senior colleague, Burna Boy.
On his X (formerly Twitter) profile, the young performer expressed gratitude to Burna Boy for being the first to grant him permission to play at the O2 Arena.
Just a few minutes before his debut performance at the O2 Arena, Rema made his statements public. The singer of the song “Calm Down” said that Burna Boy has always been a major source of inspiration.
He wrote; “Before I get on stage, I want to say a big thank you to @burnaboy for bringing me on stage two years ago. Today, it’s my turn to conquer that same stage, and I wish you were here to share this moment with me. Regardless, I’m grateful for the motivation. With love, Rema”.
