Chef Dammy of Ekiti state, says she will be embarking on a 150-hours cookathon next month and she’d duly register it with GWR.
Part of her statement reads;
First of all, I’d like to thank God Almighty for the privilege He has granted me and everyone to grace this beautiful day. My special thanks also goes to the National Union of Journalists, Ekiti
State Chapter for granting us – me and my team – this special opportunity.
I also use this medium to appreciate my governor, His Excellency. Dr Biodun Abayomi Oyebani and his beautiful wife, Her Excellency, Dx Olavemi Ovebanji for seeing me as someone worthy of their support.
I appreciate Dr Kemi Qlunlove. the Vice Chancellor of my school, Professor Abayomi Fashina Sunday, the Llupeiu. Ekiti youths association, Federal University. Oye-Ekiti students, Abound gas Ado Ekiti. Mr Aroio. Avodeji, Julius, Former of Works in Osun State, Mr Omowaiye Oluremi Boombet company, Bola Omo, Ekiti. Iretowiwa Esther and everyone at large.
I would also like to apologize to the NUI, Ekiti State chapter for not holding this meeting before now. Many reasons have been the cause of this but my team say a big sorry for everything.
During the 120 hours cook-a-thon which lasted five days, a lot of things happened to me. It was
an experience that I can never forget throughout my entire existence. But if I was given the chance
to describe what my greatest highlight in the whole cook-a-thon was, I’d state the fact that my
family members, Spirit Word Global Mission were always motivating and inspiring me to continue and never give up. It gives me so much joy to be part of such a beautiful family of loving
individuals.
There have been many discussions and rumors ongoing about the Pastor of Spirit Word Global
Mission Church who is also my manager, pocketing all of the funds that have been coming in to
me.
The question we should ask is how I got to set up everything for myself.
People always criticize
about the money coming in but they don’t ask about the money that was used to start the whole program.
This program was fully funded by my pastor and some few members of the church.
