Reality TV star and actress, Mercy Eke has cried out over her money being stuck with Heritage Bank as CBN revoked the bank’s license.
According to Mercy Eke, in a post on her X account, her BBN prize money was paid into her Heritage because the bank were among the show’s sponsored for the season she won. She further clarify that the money amounted to over 100 million naira.
In her words; “I really don’t no how to react about this … I have been hoping for the best .. thinking there’s a way out…. #heritagebank
“That was the bank that sponsored Bbn during my set, for them to pay our money we were advised to open an account with them… stupid me went ahead and funded the account … don’t worry I’m full of regrets right now.”.
