Nigerian dancehall, singer and songwriter, Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo best known by his stage name Blackface Naija has blasted his colleague, Rema over the lyrics of his popular hit song “Calm Down”.
This happened in his recent appearance on media personality, Nedu Wazobia’a podcast, “The Honest Bunch”.
Blackface Naija asked if the likes of Rema are representing Nigeria in a good light with the kind of songs they sing.
He used Rema’s song “Calm Down” as a case study. The singer cited particular lyrics in the song ‘I Get Money Pass Your Papa’ to term the song as one with no moral.
