Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu is in the news again this time for giving credit to himself for reviving Jim Iyke’s acting career.

During an interview on the Bants and Rants podcast, with former Bbnaija housemate, Dee One, Uche Maduagwu revealed that he orchestrated a controversial stunt involving a staged slap from Jim Iyke, in a bid to bring the veteran actor back into the limelight.

According to Uche Maduagwu, the staged slap incident, which had previously gone viral on social media, was a carefully planned move to generate excitement and reignite public interest in Jim Iyke’s projects.

Recalling the incident on the Bants and Rants podcast, Uche Maduagwu said, “Before that stunt, Jim Iyke had been absent from the screens of Nigerians”.
