Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko has dismissed recent speculations that he is planning to marry Nollywood actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife and that she is pregnant for him.
In an official statement released by his Director of Communications, the claims were described as “entirely baseless” and a product of “malicious speculation.”
The statement also addressed false reports alleging that Nwoko made comments about legendary musician Tuface Idibia and polygamy, stating that such claims were completely untrue.
“As a public figure and with his wife also being an actress, it is not unusual for bloggers seeking attention to fabricate such stories,” the statement read. It further emphasized that Senator Nwoko is currently focused on his national assignment and political mandate, with no time for distractions.
The office urged media practitioners to verify information before publication, warning against the consequences of spreading fake news. The public was advised to disregard the rumors and rely solely on official statements from his office.
This clarification follows growing social media chatter about Nwoko’s alleged connection with Chika Ike, which has now been debunked as mere speculation.
