Dubai-based Ismailia Mustapha, also known as Mompha, a Nigerian social media celebrity, has been re-arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Lagos state command, just three days after arriving in Nigeria for business.

He was re-arrested, according to sources, for allegedly laundering monies earned via illegal operations and keeping the alleged proceeds of crime.
Prior to his re-arrest on Monday, January 10th, 2022, the Dubai-based socialite and his firm, Ismalob Global Investment Limited, were facing charges of N32.9 billion in cyber fraud and money laundering.
