Twitter influencer, Oriretan Honour,has vowed to take legal action against Afrobeats singer, D’banj, following his reconciliation with Mavins Records label founder, Don Jazzy.
It’s worth noting that social media buzzed with excitement, after D’banj and Don Jazzy announced that they had put their longtime feud aside, and were teaming up for a new album, The Entertainer Sequel.
Following the announcement, a Twitter influencer , Oriretan Honour, has filed a two billion naira lawsuit against D’banj, alleging that the artist accepted his advice to reunite with Don Jazzy to revive his career and blocked him on Twitter afterward.
He further stated that the two billion naira lawsuit was intended to compensate him for his advice, and described D’banj’s reconciliation with Don Jazzy as a ‘wise decision.
Oriretan’s tweet reads “I remember advising @Dbanj on Feb 18, 2024, to reunite with @DonJazzy and revive his stagnant career after years of absence. He foolishly blocked me instead. Now, I’m suing him for ₦2 billion as compensation for accepting my advice despite blocking me”.
