Burna Boy has reacted to comments by his Ghanaian counterparts, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale on their thoughts on Nigerian artists.
Shatta Wale recently threw a shade at Nigerian singers after he sold out the second biggest stadium in Ghana, according to him, he was told that he would not be able to sell out a Ghanaian stadium without inviting a Nigerian artiste to perform.
He was able to fill the Accra Sports Stadium and went on to slam all singers from the country, stating that he doesn’t need them for anything.
Stonebwoy on his own part stated that Shatta Wale, although did not present his statement appropriately, was indeed pointing his fingers towards the right path, concluding that Shatta Wale was right to blame Nigerian artistes the way he did.
Burna Boy remarked that it was a lie and even proposed a 1-on-1 fight with anyone who had personal issues with him. He shared this via his Instagram stories on Friday, the 31st of December 2021. He said;
Plenty talk, na lie lie full inside. If you never helped anyone that you couldn’t gain from. If you can’t name 1 person that came from under you and you didn’t end up your enemy. You can’t cry for help and feel entitled to it.
