Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko also known as Adekunle Gold was born on 28, January 1987. He was born and raised in Lagos State, Nigeria. Adekunle Gold was born into a royal family and he is a crown prince of a particular kingdom in Lagos State.
Adekunle listened to different genre of music while growing. Particularly, he listened to songs by Ebenezer Obey and King Sunny Ade. His interest in music grew and he joined the junior choir at his church when he was a teenager. When he was 15, he wrote his first song.
