The missing daughter of veteran Nigerian actress Jumoke George, Adeola, has returned to Nigeria after being trafficked to Mali four years ago.
Jumoke George had spoken about her missing daughter during an interview with Biola Adebayo, who hosts the talk show ‘Talk to B.’
She disclosed that Adeola, her first child, lived with her grandmother in Ibadan before she was no where to be found after mentioning plans to travel to Lagos.
Adeola later got in touch with the family to ask for forgiveness and explained that she had traveled abroad with friends to seek greener pastures.
In the same interview, Jumoke George spoke about her own struggles with health and finances.
She explained that her situation had forced her to turn down acting roles, refund payments, and borrow money for medical treatment, including medical tests costing around N400,000.
Jumoke also revealed that the money she earned from her jobs was spent on efforts to locate her daughter.
