Social media influencer and entrepreneur Priscilla Ojo has taken a swipe at singer Naira Marley, following a heated exchange between him and her mother, actress Iyabo Ojo.
Earlier today, Naira Marley shared old private conversations between himself and Iyabo Ojo in an attempt to clear his name amid the lingering controversy surrounding the tragic death of singer Mohbad. In response, Iyabo Ojo maintained her stance, stating that she never accused Naira Marley of murder but condemned his silence while his associate, Sam Larry, allegedly bullied Mohbad. She emphasized that she would never stay silent in the face of injustice, regardless of past interactions.
Following this, Priscilla Ojo took to her social media page and wrote, “A trending TikTok song doesn’t change the past of an evil man.”
While she did not mention names, many believe her statement was directed at Naira Marley, whose song has been trending on TikTok despite the ongoing controversy.
Naira Marley had previously faced backlash over his connection to Mohbad’s alleged bullying, with many accusing him of negligence. Although he has denied involvement in the late singer’s death, the issue remains a hot topic among fans and celebrities.
Priscilla’s comment has further fueled the debate, with some supporting her stance while others argue that Naira Marley should be given another chance.
